Before her appearance in Terrace House, she used to work at a clothing store in Hawaii.
She designs and runs her own line of swimwear under the name Ila.
Her mother owns a clothing store in Hawaii where she used to work.
On the show Terrace House, she starred alongside Lauren Tsai .
