ABOUT AYO MAFF
Nigerian singer and songwriter noted for his contributions to the Afrobeats, dancehall, and Afro-pop genres. He primarily rose to fame with the release of his chart-topping 2024 single, "Dealer." He later dropped his debut EP, "Maffian," in August that same year.
He has stated that growing up in the Somulu local government area of Nigeria influenced his songwriting after becoming interested in music at a young age. He released his debut single, "Jama Jama," in 2023 before dropping a two-track project called "STREET ANTHEM/7 DAYS" in January of 2024.
In July 2024, he was named on NOTJUSTOK's list of "10 Gen Z Afrobeats Artists Taking Nigeria by Storm." He has amassed over 550,000 Instagram followers as a result of his musical fame.
He was born Ayorinde Mafoluku Ayodele. He is also widely known by his nickname, "Prince of the Street."
His 2024 hit single "Dealer" was a collaborative effort with fellow singer-songwriter Fireboy DML .
