ABOUT BALA HIJAM
Predominantly known as a Manipur film star, she has led films like Blue Skies, Green Waters, Red Earth (2013), Eikhoi Pabunggi (2016), and the Mayalayam thriller Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi (2013). She also won Best Actress at the 8th Manipur State Film Festival for her role in Yaiskulgee Pakhang Angaoba.
She was only a year old when she made her film debut in Tellanga Mamei. However, it wasn't until 2010 that she truly kicked off her acting career in Imagi Laman Singamdre.
In 2011, she won the Special Jury Award from the Film Academy Manipur.
She was born in Imphal, India to Hijam Suniti Devi and Hijam Biramangol.
Dulquer Salmaan starred alongside her in the adventure drama Blue Skies, Green Waters, Red Earth.
