Reality star who is best known as the patriarch of the Plath family, a Christian fundamentalist family who live in rural Georgia. The family shares their everyday life on the hit TLC show Welcome to Plathville .

He is a transportation planner for a private firm.

He leads the family band which has performed at several church events.

He and his wife Kim got married in 1997, and have nine children; among them are the older siblings Micah , Moriah , Lydia , Isaac and Ethan Plath .

He and Jon Gosselin have both starred on family reality shows.
