ABOUT BART VERBRUGGEN

Men's goalkeeper that originally signed his first club contract with the Netherlands-based soccer team NAC Breda as a teenager in 2019. He later signed a multi-year contract with R.S.C. Anderlecht in August of 2020. He has also played for the Dutch men's national team during his professional career.

He initially began playing soccer as a young boy growing up. He was eventually given a chance to play for the NAC Breda youth squad in the year 2014.

After a phenomenal 2022-23 club season, he was named Anderlecht's Player of the Season. In the 17 games he played, he recorded eight shutouts.

Although he was born in Zwolle in the Netherlands, he grew up living in the Breda area.

He is a professional goalkeeper like David de Gea .
