She studied media production at De Montfort University. She was the head of pre-production for the student TV station.
She worked as a comedy writer and video producer for Circa. She also worked for ColourPop Cosmetics, Five Four Group and MuteSix in similar capacities.
She and her sister Chloe Zak shared a comedy YouTube channel called Chloe and Becky Zak.
