Center back who joined Wellington Phoenix in 2008 and began his long tenure with the New Zealand national team in 2000.

He debuted professionally for Christchurch United in 1998.

He appeared in 83 matches for Canterbury United from 2004 to 2006.

He was born in Blenheim, New Zealand.

He and goalkeeper Jake Gleeson became teammates on the New Zealand national team.
