Benjamin Dube
ABOUT BENJAMIN DUBE
South African Christian leader and gospel singer known for the release of more than a dozen successful gospel albums since his musical career began in 1986. The Bishop of Benjamin Dube Ministries, he and his family captain the High Praise Centre Church.
At nine, he inherited his father's love of playing the guitar. Two years later, he expanded the the drums and bass. By twelve, he and his siblings were singing together in Church as the Dube family singers.
After his father was murdered in 1976, he and his family toured the Netherlands singing and sharing the story of his death. They later released the album Vader Vergeef He Then which translates to Father Forgive Them.
He was the last son of five children born to Reverend Benjamin and Grace Dube. His father was a guitarist and his mother was a singer.
Much like Paul Morton , he has gained a reputation as both a religious leader and gospel singer.
