He began his road to professional soccer through the Chemnitzer FC youth system.
He helped Chemnitzer FC win the Regionalliga Nord title in 2010 and move up to the third division.
He was born and raised in Chemnitz, Germany.
He and Michael Ballack both began their careers in the Chemnitzer FC youth system.
