ABOUT BERNIE MCINERNEY

American actor who was known for his portrayal of different characters in films like Trading Places and The American President. His other credits include 30 Rock , Wasichu, and Kate & Allie.

He wanted to be a sports announcer when he was young, but found much success in acting.

He also acted in many stage appearances including as Ted Quinn in The American Clock, and as Fran Hogan in Father Dreams.

He married his wife Leilani, an opera singer, and together they had three children.

He appeared in the 1983 film, Trading Places, which starred Dan Aykroyd .
