American actor who portrayed Walter Baylor in National Lampoon's Class Reunion, Sargent Paladin in Meatballs Part II, and had a minor role in Lethal Weapon. He was the father of Red Hot Chili Peppers lead singer Anthony Kiedis .

Anthony revealed that his father used to sell drugs to rock legends including members of Led Zeppelin and The Who's Keith Moon .

He appeared on television as well in series including Starsky and Hutch, Trapper John, M.D., and It's Gary Shandling's Show.

He was married to Maragaret Idema from 1960 to 1968 with the marriage ending in divorce.

He had a guest starring role on the series Who's The Boss?, starring Tony Danza .
