ABOUT BLAKE MITCHELL

Quarterback who played for the South Carolina Gamecocks in college and later went on to sign with the pro Southern Indoor Football League Greenville Force.

He quarterbacked the LaGrange High School football team and led them to a state title in Georgia.

He became one of only three University of South Carolina quarterbacks to defeat the Tennessee Volunteers, Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, and Clemson Tigers.

His brother Jay played minor league baseball in the Colorado Rockies organization.

Former Mets great Mookie Wilson also went to University of South Carolina.
