Bob Krueger
ABOUT BOB KRUEGER
American politician and member of the Democratic party who was a Congressman representing Texas's 21st district from 1975 to 1979. He was also a US senator from Texas for the first 6 months of 1993.
He earned a B.A. from Southern Methodist University in 1957 and an M.A. from Duke University in 1958.
President Bill Clinton appointed him as the US Ambassador to both Burundi and Botswana.
Krueger was married to the former Kathleen Tobin.
He filled the Senate vacancy caused by the resignation of Lloyd Bentsen , who became Secretary of the Treasury in 1993.
