Country star best known as a member of the popular 50's group The Browns. The band's biggest hit "The Three Bells" shot to number one on the Billboard charts in 1959.
She and her siblings formed The Browns in 1955, when she was eighteen years old.
She was the only member of The Browns not to pursue a solo career after the group broke up in 1967.
Her band The Browns consisted of herself, her brother Jim, and her sister Maxine.
Her and The Browns' hit "The Three Bells" was previously a hit for legendary French singer Edith Piaf in 1952.
