ABOUT BRANCO MELLO
Brazilian musician and actor most recognized as the lead vocalist and bassist of the renowned Brazilian rock band Titãs. He also acted in Areias Escaldantes.
In the year 1981, Mello and a group of eight friends came together to establish the band Titãs, originally known as Titãs do Iê-Iê.
His introduction to music came through the world of cinema, as his father would regularly take him to watch musicals at Metro.
He is from Brazil. He now resides in the city of Rio de Janeiro. He is married to actress and producer Ângela Figueiredo. The couple have two sons together named Bento and Joaquim.
He cites singers like Frank Sinatra as his primary influences.
