Smooth-voiced country, gospel, and bluegrass singer from Scotland, he was able to launch a singing career after being a viral video sensation.

He was launched into internet fame in 2010 after a video of him singing in a guitar shop went viral.

He began learning the keyboards after having already mastered the guitar.

His father George and his grandmother, whom he referred to as Peeps, got him into music. When he was younger, his father would accompany him on the guitar. He began dating Rebecca Scobie in 2014

In 2014 he got to play with Vince Gill , Dawn Sears, and the Time Jumpers in Nashville.
