American country music singer-songwriter and recording artist who rose to fame with his 2016 breakout album, Shine On Rainy Day. He is also notable for writing songs for a number of famous country artists, such as Luke Bryan and Kenny Chesney .
As a teenager, he fronted a band called Mile Marker 5.
He received a Grammy nomination for his album Shine On Rainy Day.
His father, Patrick Cobb, was a rock musician. His wife, Layne, has co-written music with him.
He collaborated with Jade Bird on his 2019 single "Feet Off the Ground."
