Retired defender and midfielder who played professionally for Larne and Everton as well as in the Major Indoor Soccer League for the San Diego Sockers.
Growing up, his favorite sports were Gaelic football and hurling, and he didn't start playing soccer until he was 14 years old.
He played for the United States national team from 1991 to 1994.
He grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
He played alongside midfielder Cobi Jones on the American national team.
