She was arrested more than a dozen times. her life turned around after she was able to get a $5,000USD investment in her business idea.

In May 2023 she announced she was starting a scholarship named "From Bars to Boss". The scholarship awards formerly incarcerated single mothers $1,000USD as a small business grant. She also host the ToasTeas Podcast.

She is a single mother to three boys.
