ABOUT BRUCE BROWN JR.

Second round pick of the Detroit Pistons who spent two seasons as part of the University of Miami 's men's basketball team before declaring for the NBA Draft in 2018.  After a stint with the Brooklyn Nets , he joined the Denver Nuggets and he helped the Nuggets win the 2023 NBA championship.

He began playing basketball at the age of six. He dunked for the first time in the eighth grade.

He chose to go to Miami rather than notable basketball schools such as Indiana , Arizona , UConn , Georgetown , Michigan , and Louisville . He has accumulated over 160,000 followers on his brucebrown Instagram page.

His parents are Roberta Brown and Bruce Brown and he is the brother of ten siblings.

He was coached by Dwane Casey as a member of the Pistons.
