ABOUT BRUCE WALTERS

Known in the Midwestern states for his digital artwork and graphite drawings. He was known for the "Halloween Flight" series and his Art in Plain Sight feature articles.

He earned his MFA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his BA at the University of Iowa.

His life-sized paintings were put on permanent display at the Hauberg Museum in Illinois. In 1984, he assisted in creating the first Bachelor of Arts program in computer graphics.

He was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa.

He and actor Ashton Kutcher were both born in Iowa.
