Strong-legged punter who broke NFL rookie records with a 47.8 yard average and 40.8 net average for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012.

He followed up an All-American high school career with three consecutive All-Pac-12 seasons at the University of California.

He was given the nickname Banger by his Jaguars teammates.

His parents names are Mike and Jean. His brother Michael Jr. played soccer at the college level.

He was a special guest on the Rich Eisen show where he was given a shirt saying "Punters are People Too!"
