In the year 2005, he graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in psychology.

His EPs include titles like Buddy Brown, Keepin' It Country, Hometown Anthems, Hurricane Stomp, and Just Sayin'. In the year 2015, he opened for Jon Pardi at the Clay County Fairgrounds in Green Cove Springs, Florida. He has amassed more than 1.2 million subscribers on his Buddy Brown YouTube channel.
