He studied Clinical psychology at Queens College, City University of New York. He played for the basketball team at Queens College.

He's worked as a VP of Marketing and PR for Cali Prime. He was a sponsored fitness athlete before launching Foodie OC.

The couple also writes about travel and accommodation in addition to cuisine.
