Singer, songwriter, and poet who began her career in spoken word poetry. She originally recorded her poems as part of musical tracks composed by other artists. She is known for her albums, Highly Flavoured and Summer Life. Her hit singles include "Ngoku" and "Lahla". Her busiswaah Instagram account portraits, concert clips, and family photos. She has amassed 1.6 million fans.
She began writing poems at the age of 15.
She has traveled to New York, Cape Town, Accra, and East London. Before launching her career, she worked as an art teacher.
She was born in Mthatha, South Africa. When she was young, her family relocated to Durban due to work by her parents.
She and DJ Zinhle collaborated on "My Name Is".
