ABOUT C.J. SMITH

Former NFL defensive back that played for the Philadelphia Eagles , the Cleveland Browns , and the Denver Broncos during his three-year career. In the year of 2019, he signed a one-year deal to play in the AAF league for the Salt Lake Stallions before eventually being drafted by the Dallas Renegades during the 2019 XFL draft.

Prior to his professional career, he played college football at North Dakota State University . While at North Dakota State, he won five NCAA FCS National Championships.

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Washington Commanders during week six of the 2016 regular season. Unfortunately, he and the Eagles lost the game with a score of 27-20.

He grew up living with his parents in Savage, Minnesota. He is one of three siblings.

He was college teammates with Carson Wentz while at North Dakota State.
