ABOUT CARINA ADLY MACKENZIE

Screenwriter and story editor best known for her work first on The Originals: Awakening mini-series and then the hit show The Originals.

After graduating from the University of Colorado, she became a writer's assistant on the popular CW series The Originals.

She has a self-titled blog where she posts everything from poetry to pieces about her daily life.

She was raised by Shereen Abdel-Meguid in Connecticut and later settled in Los Angeles, California.

She has worked as both a writer and story editor for The Originals, a show created by Julie Plec .
