Actress of film and television who became best known for her 100-plus appearances as the buxom Matinée Lady on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson . She was also a regular in sketches on The Red Skelton Show.
She was a teenage figure skater along with her sister Nina Wayne. The sisters would become showgirls of the Folies Bergère at the Tropicana Resort & Casino in Las Vegas before beginning their television careers in the mid-1960s.
She filed for bankruptcy the same year that she posed for Playboy magazine. She was a guest-star on numerous television series, including Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie.
She married three times in her lifetime to husbands Larry Cera, Barry Feinstein and Burt Sugarman.
Teresa Ganzel was a successor of Carol's Matinée Lady persona on The Tonight Show.
