Widely recognized for having been married to the infamous serial killer Ted Bundy . She married Bundy in 1980, the day before he was sentenced to death for the third time.

She worked for the Washington State Department of Emergency Services prior to meeting Ted Bundy.

She stopped visiting Bundy in prison in 1986. She would later change her name more than three times and frequently move around the country to try to remain anonymous.

She had a child with a former husband before meeting Bundy. She passed in a retirement home.

Both her husband and John Wayne Gacy were infamous American serial killers.
