Singer and actress from England best known for singles like “Serious Money”. As an actress she has appeared in a number of films, including "Mannequin" and "The Shrimp on the Barbie".

She attended the City University of New York and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute before signing to Warner Bros. Records in 1989.

She is an animal rights activist who was named as the West Coast Director of the Companion Animal Protection Society.

Her mother was French and her father was American.

She wrote the Prince song “Slow Love” in 1987.
