ABOUT CARON MELINA WHEELER
English singer, songwriter, and record producer who rose to fame in the late 1980s as the lead singer of the r&b group Soul II Soul. They were known for their singles "Keep on Movin'" and "Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)". In 1990, she released her debut solo album, UK Blak, which included the hits "Livin' in the Light", "UK Blak", and "Don't Quit."
She attended Kingsdale Foundation School in the late 70s.
In 1988, she sang backing vocals for Andy Bell 's song "Chains of Love". She was one of the founding members of the music groups Brown Sugar and Afrodiziak.
She has a daughter named Asha Star.
The group Soul II Soul was managed by her bandmate, Jazzie B .
