Canadian singer who became famous after posting music on TikTok. In September 2020, she posted a cover of The 1975 's song "If You're Too Shy," which went viral. She has earned more than 400,000 followers on her cassidymackenziem account.

At four years old, she began violin lessons. She later learned guitar, bass, drums, and piano.

She attended Belmont University and studied songwriting. Her cover of All Time Low 's "Dear Maria, Count Me In" has earned over 1 million views on YouTube.

She became famous while living in her parent's apartment in Vancouver.

She is inspired by artists including Avril Lavigne , Halsey , and Paramore .
