British entrepreneur and fashion and home furnishings designer. She was best known for her trademark floral patterns and for founding the company Cath Kidston Limited.
She and her three siblings were raised in Hampshire, England, and she studied at several boarding schools before moving to London in her late teens.
Her home furnishings company Cath Kidston Limited was worth 75 million pounds in 2010.
She bought two homes with her longtime partner, music producer Hugh Padgham. She and Hugh have a daughter named Jessica Padgham.
She was the cousin of Kirstie Allsopp , a noted television host.
