American author whose romance novels, including The Night Trilogy and The Bride Series, have won her legions of fans. She wrote 42 consecutive novels which made the New York Times Bestsellers list starting in 1988.
She grew up on a horse ranch in Texas and studied European History at Boston College.
She worked as a speechwriter for an executive on Wall Street.
Her mother was a concert pianist and her father was an artist and singer.
She and Lora Leigh are both authors of popular romance novels.
