ABOUT CATHY MURPHY
Most well known for playing Julie Perkins, Trisha Taylor, and Lorna on the British soap opera EastEnders she is also recognized for her recurring roles on The House of Eliott, Casualty, Family Affairs, and Holby City.
She trained at London's Sylvia Young Theatre School and made her screen acting debut in a 1982 made-for-TV movie titled Made in Britain.
Her film credits include appearances in The 7th Dimension (2009) and Welcome to the Punch (2013).
The daughter of Catherine McKevitt Murphy, she spent her early days in Essex, England. She began a long-term relationship in 2002 and subsequently welcomed two daughters.
She and her long-time friend Perry Fenwick are both known for their work on EastEnders.
