Best known for his roles in the Brazilian telenovelas Passione and Belíssima, he also appeared in such series as Amores Roubados and O Caçador and in 13 art house films.

Before becoming an actor, he had a modeling career and was a frequent presence in New York and Paris fashion shows. Early in his career, he played the role of Tito in a 2004 film titled Ódiquê?

He co-starred with Debora Falabella in a highly popular telenovela titled Avenida Brasil.

His marriage to actress and model Grazielli Massafera resulted in a child named Sofia.

He appeared alongside Fernanda Montenegro in the telenovela Passione.
