ABOUT CHARLIE ADAM
Midfielder who made his senior career debut in 2003 for the Rangers F.C.; joined Scotland's national team in 2007; signed with Stoke City in 2012 after spending a year with Liverpool.
He played his youth soccer at Dundee from 1999 to 2003.
He scored 28 goals in 78 appearances for Blackpool from 2009 to 2011.
He married Sophie Adam in 2009.
As a member of Scotland's national team, he played under the tutelage of manager Alex McLeish .
