She was a key assistant location manager for televisions shows such as This Is Us , Barry and Shameless . She also gained recognition for sharing her content about her disabilities through her tanzchelsea TikTok account that gained over 150,000 followers.

She graduated from Hill-Murray School.

She was an advisory board member for Fashion Week MN. In 2019, she moved into her mother's home. Shortly after she was diagnosed with Stiff-person syndrome, EDS , MCAS, CCI, DDD and Raynaud's and became an advocate for disabilities and a disabled model.

Her father passed away in 2002. She posted photos with her mother, her sister Lacey Lawrence and nephews on her Instagram account.
