ABOUT CHELSEA SORRELL

Country singer known for her tenure as a contestant on the reality TV series American Idol. She featured as a top 24 performer in the show's 11th season.

She served as the lead vocalist for the North Carolina-based Chris Lane Band for four years. She toured with them throughout North Carolina.

She competed on American Idol's Round of 24 with the song "Cowboy Casanova." The song was originally performed by Idol winner Carrie Underwood . On December 10th, 2013, she released her debut solo EP onto iTunes.

She was born and raised in Stokesdale, North Carolina. She has recalled "singing karaoke with (her) Nana" as her earliest memory of performing.

As a member of the Chris Lane Band, she has opened for Darius Rucker .
