Men's central midfielder that initially signed his first professional club contract with S.L. Benfica of the Portuguese Primeira Liga in the year 2023. During his teenage years, he played for the Italian youth national teams. He is a Nike-sponsored athlete.

Prior to his professional soccer career, he played for the Brescia Calcio youth club. He later joined the Atalanta and Benfica youth ranks.

He signed his first professional club contract with S.L. Benfica like Renato Sanches and João Cancelo . On July 12, 2023, he signed for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a five-year contract until June 30, 2028.

He grew up living with his family in Brescia, Italy. He is of Italian and Senegalese descent.
