Chimezie Metu
ABOUT CHIMEZIE METU
Nigerian basketball player famous for playing for the Sacramento Kings . He also played for the USC Trojans. Metu made a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer on December 29, 2021. This led to the Kings' victory over the Mavericks.
He stated his intention to attend USC on May 12, 2014.
During his freshman year, Metu appeared in 34 games and started in 2 of them. He maintained an average of 6.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per game whilst in college. During a Summer League game against the Dallas Mavericks on August 15, 2021, he was ejected after throwing a punch at Eugene Omoruyi.
He moved from Los Angeles to Nigeria at the age of 6 and lived there until he was 12.
He and Jordan McLaughlin both made the All-Pac-12 1st team in 2018.
