Choi Min-young

ABOUT CHOI MIN-YOUNG

South Korean actor known for his roles in the series The Promise and the 2022 show Twenty-Five Twenty-One where he plays Baek Yi-hyun. In 2022 he was cast as a lead in the Netflix series Xo, Kitty as Dae. He was nominated for the Best Actor award at the 2016 KBS Drama Awards. In 2020 he took first place in The 6th DIMF Musical Star, winning the grand prize.

He attended the Kaywon High School of Arts and Dankook University. He made his acting debut in 2014 in the KBS2 drama Magic Thousand Characters. From there he was cast in the series Strong Girl Bong-soon, Mr. Sunshine, and Itaewon Class.

He is also a singer and has performed in many musicals such as Bonnie & Clyde, Empress Myeongseong, Frankenstein, and Kinky Boots . In April 2022, he signed an exclusive contract with Saram Entertainment. In 2022 he played a support role in the film Dream Palace.

He is from Seoul, South Korea. He has a pet dog.
