ABOUT CHOI WON-YOUNG

South Korean actor who starred in the 2011 drama series While You Were Sleeping. He earned acclaim for his supporting role in the coming-of-age series Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. His film credits include the 2005 romantic comedy Love in Magic and Netflix's 2022 spy action feature Yaksha: Ruthless Operations.

He had an early role in the 2002 film Sex Is Zero.

He appeared in the music video for Byul's song, "Love in Memory." He was named Best Supporting Actor at the 2017 KBS Drama Awards for his roles in Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth and Mad Dog.

He and actress Shim Yi-young tied the knot in the year 2014.

He and Oh Yoon-ah were co-stars in While You Were Sleeping.
