ABOUT CHRIS VAN DUSEN
Television producer and screenwriter best known as the creator of the television series Bridgerton . He started his professional career as Shonda Rhimes ' assistant. He later collaborated on a variety of her television series including Grey's Anatomy , Private Practice , The Catch and Scandal .
As a child, he watched television series such as The Golden Girls and Martin . He was a graduate of University of Southern California 's Peter Stark Producing Program.
His first official writing credit on Grey's Anatomy was the season three episode, "My Favorite Mistake."
He grew up in Maryland as an only child.
His television series Bridgerton starred performers including Regé-Jean Page , Phoebe Dynevor , Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley .
