ABOUT CHRISTIAN PONDER

NFL quarterback who was selected 12th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He helped lead the team to a playoff appearance in 2013.

He was a top 20 prospect out of high school and was recruited by Florida State University.

He was a finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award during his senior year at Florida State.

He married ESPN sportscaster Samantha Ponder in 2012 and he and Samantha have a daughter named Bowden.

He became teammates with Pro Bowl running back Adrian Peterson in 2011.
