American actress known for appearing on The CW's limited series Containment and The CW drama series The Originals . She also starred in the TV series A Million Little Things .
She moved from Los Angeles to New York City, where she taught black history through art. She performed in various community and off-Broadway theatre productions.
In 2016, she played the leading role of Marie Walker in the short film How We Met.
Her father was an acting teacher, writer and director.
