Christopher Guard

ABOUT CHRISTOPHER GUARD

English actor known for his roles in the BBC television versions of David Copperfield, The Tempest, and I, Claudius. He also appeared in such series as Casualty and Doctor Who.

After attending Latymer Upper School, he began performing at England's famed National Theatre.

He sang in the 1977 film version of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music.

His two marriages -- to actresses Lesley Dunlop and Cathy Shipton -- produced a total of three daughters.

His brother, Dominic Guard , also had a career as a stage and screen actor.
