Defender and midfielder who debuted professionally in 2009 for Aston Villa and internationally in 2011 for the Republic of Ireland.

Prior to joining Aston Villa's senior club, he was part of their youth system from 2000 to 2009.

He played for England's under-17 national team.

He grew up in Harrow, England.

He played alongside striker Christian Benteke on Aston Villa.
