ABOUT CLAES BANG
European Film Award for Best Actor winner for his role as art museum curator Christian in 2017's The Square. The film won the Palme d'Or at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. He was then cast in the 2018 American film The Girl in the Spider's Web .
In 1996, he graduated from the Danish National School of Theatre.
He has performed a monologue based on Jan Guillou's novel Evil more than 300 times. He makes music under the moniker This Is Not America as a side project.
He married stylist Lis Louis-Jensen in 2010.
He acted alongside Claire Foy in 2018's The Girl in the Spider's Web.
