Claire Mary O'Riordan

ABOUT CLAIRE MARY O'RIORDAN

Professional soccer player who plays for the Belgian club Standard Liège. She previously played for the Celtic FC. She is also a member of the Republic of Ireland women's national team.

She started her senior career at Wexford Youths in the Irish Women's National League (WNL), where she spent the better part of five years. While at the club, she won the WNL three times.

O'Riordan signed a professional contract for German Frauen-Bundesliga side MSV Duisburg in July of 2018. She played primarily as a center-half in defense for the club. She represented Ireland during their 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification campaign. She won her first senior cap playing for the national team at the 2016 Cyprus Women's Cup.

She is in a relationship with Marina Diez.

In July of 2022, she posted a video documenting her vacation in Portofino, Italy on her claireor17 Instagram account. The video featured a sped up version of the song, "Angeleyes" by ABBA .
